The Romantic Story of Cheeseburger & Fries::
Sometimes when i ate cheeseburger & fries, i smiled to myself. I remember some fond memories. Today mark the beginning of that love story.
It has been 10 yrs since I first met him. He's not a stranger to me but he's my pen pal. We knew each other for a few months. We only communicate thru letters. Some people say that both of us were in Spore so what the heck were we writing letters for? I guess because i like writing letters and i'm the type who quite faithful to my bf. So since both of us are attached, i made it a point not to communicate thru phone or meet him. So on this date 10 yrs ago, I plucked up my courage to ask him out. And the rest is history. Of coz little that i realise that he would be the one. He's my soulmate.
During that time, both of us were not really employed, we can't afford luxuries. I was waiting for my A level results & he's still in NS so we were financially tight. We created a way to mark our monthly anniversary by going to MacDonald to buy a cheeseburger meal. We imagined that the cheeseburger is our cake & we used fries as candles for the cake & of coz i have to light the candles using chillie sauce as flames.
To mark the special day today, I bought a cake from Prima Deli..it's sooo yummy. I also gave him a mug coz i have no idea what to get him at such a short time (& he had most of the gadget that he wanted). Wanted to get him PSP game cartridge but i have no idea what he had or liked. I even called MacDonald for delivery. As you might have guessed, I have cheeseburger & fries to remind us of our humble beginning when we rather spend money on burger than cake. Although my surprise was spoiled when he walked into our bedrm & saw the cake. But he was still surprise that i get him gift & cake.
I guess time do fly fast. Never realise that its's been 10 yrs. I hope that I can go through another 10 yr hurdle. Whoever thought that he would be my hubby & father of my kids. Love u abang!

Taufik's Autograph Session::
I've promised my son that I will bring him to see Taufik last yr but I didn't get the chance. So today was my chance to redeem myself & deliver what I promised him. To see his idol, Taufik or what he used to call when he's 2 yrs old, Anan (whick means idol tapi pelatlah..what u expect he wz 2 yr old when Taufik b'came Spore 1st idol).
I got ready at 1 pm and we left home half hour later. It was still drizzling & I have no umbrella (left it at sch last yr). Met my neighbour, Stella & her kids at the void deck. She wanted to lend me her umbrella but i turn down the offer. The bus seems late. We reached Causeway Pt at 2 pm and the atrium was already pack. My son & I joined the Q. Then I look around expecting to see my students of coz. Hehe. I felt a bit embaressed but who cares. I'm not the over excited teenager that scream & scream anymore. I'm an adult. My screaming fan days was over long time ago. It was with KRU. (Benci tak dpt jumpa Yusry & Norman during CicakMan promo at CP..ni semua hubby nye pasal.dia tahu tapi tak bagi tau..hmph)
Back to Taufik, we waited & waited. Daniel Ong was the host. He's quite funny. My son was already bored waiting. He saw people with Taufik's CD & asked for ours but I told him he can only hold it when we are about to meet him. He kept asking for Taufik until at 1 point he cried. Taufik..kau ni lambat la. Then at last he appeared. He sang a few song. Since people were standing, I had to carry my heavy son. Aiyoh! After Taufik sang Usah Lepaskan, Faezin said he wanted to pee. So I told the gal next to me to hold my place while i send him to toilet.
Since the Q was long, we waited and waited for our turn. While waiting for our turn on stage, we took photo with Daniel Ong. He's quite sweet lah. After he autographed the CD sleeve, I took his photo with Ezin & then we took photo the 3 of us together. Faezin was so happy but at the same time he's tired. Poor thing. So I bought him donut & strawberry shake & headed home.
Oh yah..i saw some students just now. Let me see who I saw or met; Insyirah, Hajar, Ezma, Syaffiqah, Aqid, Albania & few others that I dont know their names except I've seen them in sch. I also met some ex-students frm 2004 graduating batch, Zana, Farah, Sidah & Shahidah. Agaknye terkejut tak budak2 ni saw me there. Eh saya pun minat Taufik tau! Hehe..Ok here's the pics.

Siri dokumenteri SEKSa just started. I watched it on Weds. There was a case on a 15 yr old gal who got pregnant by her 16 yr old bf. Her mother trusted her & the bf 100% by leaving them alone at her place 'studying'. Her mother found out of their other act when she received a letter from the hospital which shed light that her daughter had an abortion. I knew that she must be devastated with both teenagers act. They betrayed the trust given to them.
Personally i knew few gals that got pregnant due to pre-marital sex. Here's the stories.
Case 1
X was a problematic gal and always ran away from home. She got pregnant and her parents wanted her to get married asap with the guy responsible for her pregnancy. She's at the moment not unemployed and so is the guy. So they are financially unstable.
My view
It's good that she kept the baby but at the same time their marriage was definitely not stable and it won't last long because of the financial issues that might arise in future.
Case 2
Y was a wild gal and mixed freely with guys. She got pregnant and her mother wants her to abort the baby but she refuse so her parents wanted them to get married. However, the guy did not want to be responsible. Even his mother did not want his son to be held responsible. So in the end she stayed as a single mother and kept her baby.
My view
It's good that she kept her baby at whatever cost. But she has to be strong to go through whatever society might throw at her or the baby.
The gals family are quite supportive regardless how disappointed or ashamed they are. They helped the gals whatever way they could. That happened few years back. Now both are moving forward but at times their past tend to haunt them. Basically, the gals are the one suffering the humiliation. What happened to the guys? Usually the get away scot free and sometimes dont repent..yap they can be swines at times.

New Clothes::
Tuesday hubby did not work so we planned to go shopping at a warehouse sale near my aunt's place. I thought I just buy undergarments but I can't resist buying clothes when I saw that the pants are cute and has my size. Since i planned to dress better this yr, I had to change a bit of my wardrobe so I bought 4 pants & 2 blouses. My hubby just shook his head. I told him that i don't shop for clothes often so its ok if i do it once a while. Now to get new shoes. I saw 2 pairs that i like at metro. I think i will buy 1 of that next month.

The 'Hot' Topic::
Looks like i opened pandora's box.. hehe. Ok this is my stand. I dont mind students having bf/gf BUT i dont think pr sch is a suitable age coz at this age kids are less mature and more naive. Thus easily influenced & gullible to peer pressure. When u have bf/gf at this age the priority sort of shifted from concerntrating on studies & PSLE in P6 to getting pretty & gaining boys' attention. Macam gini dah confirm jadi minah...asyik nak melawa aje...dah mcm bimbo...lawa tapi bengap.
I dont understand whats the hurry to have bf/gf at this age coz it's not like u are ready to settle down at 12 right. No doubt u might have more experience than any Jane that has bf at 18. But what kind of experience are we talking about? A pr sch student cant even know the difference between crush and love. The BGR relationship could just be a crush, 'ur cute & i like u' kind of thing. Then the relationship tends to fizzle out before it could hit 1 mth let alone 1 wk. Why i say this is due to the fact that if another fren of the opposite gender comes along & show more concern, the so called love will shift to that person. Then it will continue so on & so forth.
Some people even have bf/gf just for the sake of showing off & collecting ex. Then the common lines while talking with friends would be:-
"Eh, how kau & A?"
"Kita dah break. Alah dia merepek ah. Bingit ah dgn dia."
"Wah, kira kau ni single la eh sekarang."
"Single? Tak lah aku dgn B la. Kita baru stead semlm. Kalau A tu kira cerita basi."
"Wah cepat seh...setahu aku kau masih dengan A 2 days ago. Ni kira bf kau yg ke berapa?"
"B is my 4th. Eh salah..aku lupa si Z. B is my 5th."
"Wah terror seh kau. U're so popular. U're so lucky seh."
Lepas tu member pun kembang la kan coz dia sangka dia popular & terror coz ada byk stead. Merepek rite.
If the person has no bf/gf in pri sch will make the person tak laku or not popular & get married late? I dont think so. Base on experience, having bf/gf earlier or later has no effect on when u're settling down. I started dating only when I'm 16 and I married at 21. My fren started hers when she's 21 and got married at mid 20s. Another fren started hers earlier than me but tak sure at what age & she only got married at 28. Oh ya, my fren's sis dated when in sec sch got married after her N or O level. She's not interested in studying anymore. So what does this show? It shows that dating when u're in pr sch doesnt really confirm u marry early or jadi tak laku. The best is to make more frens & have fun during that time. If dah jodoh, few yrs later u might meet an old fren & really fall in love. Lagi pun pr sch is compulsory education and PSLE is a stepping stone to your future. What's the use of wasting ur time concerntrating on 1 person during pr sch & then when u go sec sch, the relationship ended or u kena dump coz ur stead has new person.. then u'll go like shit why did i waste my time with him. He's soo useless & stupid. By then, u can turn back time to do better in PSLE.
I think if u have bf/gf in pr sch, the chances of indulging in sex will be higher. Thats why there are cases of gals having sex at 13. Pregnant at 13. Why waste the time with a guy that is your age & less mature la of coz when u have 10 guys whom are frens with you & u having crush on almost all of them & enjoying their company but not being attach to any. Then after that u find that eh i dont even love any of them when u go sec sch.
Ok now i'm open for comments. Feel free. If my son ada gf masa sec sch i wont be that happy. Ye lah nanti nak belikan gf present or dating dgn dia.. duit minta mak bapak. Aiyoh! Abih nanti bergayut pat fon....u letak dulu..ala u letak dulu la...yada..yada..yada...etc tapi kerja skola tak abiskan. Ok before i continue anymore ranting, let me end here. So wats ur comment? Nite at the Museum::
Wanted to do a movie review but kept forgeting. Went to to watch it last yr, eve of aidiladha at Orchard Cineleisure. i watched the 4.30am show with hubby, girl & boy. After collecting our tickets, we were contemplating on where to go since we have around 1 hr. So we decided to check LJS. And surpringly it's open 24 hrs. Yeay! So we sat there and ate supper. (Mkn malam2 mcm gini makin gemuk la aku!)
Then follow the 3 of them to smoke. I hate when they smoke coz i cant stand the smoke smell and at 1 point i almost suffocate coz i was standing too close to my bro in law. I was coughing and coughing. Busuk seh.
Now the movie..cerita tu klakar. I guess i ever fantasize playing with little people kind of like the little people found in the movie. Cool. Most remembered line was, "DumDum, i want gumgum." Gerek la cite ni. I cant wait for the VCD. Wanna buy it for my son. I give it 4.5 stars.

'Lepak' pat tangga::
I'm living on the 12th floor and my house is next to the stairs. A few days ago, I had an experience when I reached my floor. A few steps out of the lift, I saw a couple sat at the staircase. They looked very malay & definitely teenagers around secondary sch age. They were sitting next to each other. My 1st instinct was to shout, "Oi..budget ke? Nak romen pergi lah cari bilik..ni nak romen pat tangga. Branak pun nanti pat tangga!" Feel like complaining to the police also and telling them suspicious characters are seen near my house. Ah..baru padan muka nanti. But i didnt do that. Maybe the next time huh.
My neighbours also complained the same thing near her house. Her house is at the other stairs and is even more secluded because its away from the lift. She even made a joke about leaving a box outside which says $20 per hr and pls leave no trace of satisfaction. I guess she must face more of these couples than me then. Hahaha. Since some of my students live nearby, I just hoped that I dont meet any of them at the stairs. That would be super awkward. Like that then i would get involve & contact ur parents. So siapa yg suka 'lepak' pat tangga, make sure u never reach my block.
Since I am on this taboo topic. I heard from some people that there are sec sch gals who offer sex to guys who wanna try for the 1st time & its FOC. Is there any truth to this? Is it just fiction or absolute fact? Come people enlighten me.

Puppy Love & Cinta Monyet::
Puupy Love aka Cinta Monyet always refer to teenage love or a relatioship that doesnt last. But at the same time its something that is irresistable. Everyone goes through it and that includes me.
Let me see.. I only have 2 official ex-bfs & 1 unofficial ex-bf coz I was 'dating' with him on phone & broke off also on phone.. all that BEFORE I met him. Thinking back mcm mengarut tak terkata gitu. & thank God I dump him before I see him coz he's utterly ugly (yap I'm not pretty but at least taklah sakitkan mata kan..kan..kan). At least he dont get to say I'm shallow coz I dump him bcoz of his looks. Selamat seh. He's actually my experiment bf. Saja je nak tau apasal my galfrens sibuk nak ada bf. I got to know him sometime before my prelims. Didnt do that well as I wanted. Why not? Coz the time i put aside to study during the night was spent yakking on fon with him. Before my o's, I dumped him. Wanna put study as my utmost priority. I'm so proud of myself. I'm a gd gal la.
Oh I only turn bad when I went JC when I had my 1st proper bf. He's my unofficial ex's fren. Small world huh. He wz like head over heels with me but I wz like oh ok. Since he likes me, I just gave him a shot as my bf. He's a nice guy la. Brought him home to meet family but they are not hepi. Even mum was asking, "Kau belajar tinggi2, kau nak bf mcm tu?" Oh ya, did i mention that he's a drug addict. He still a loving bf. Tapi dia ni mcm sotong la.. nak pegang2. Tak leh angkat seh. Everytime he wants to be too much, I just walk away (actually more like ran away). With him byk sangat prob esp his daddy call and complained that he stole stuff frm their house. Ler.. mcm lah aku ada share. Duhh..
My other ex wz also an ok looking bf. Semua my bf has no looks la. Takut kena kebas. Hehe. Tapi this guy pun kena kebas. Actually more like he 2 time me. I ever lepak2 at his place but his mum is at home ok..so dont get any idea huh. Lucky i never indulge anything with him..i guess thats da reason he 2 timed. Luckily i wasnt the 1 who get pregnant and kawin short gun with him. Selamat.
Then comes my last bf whom I knew when I'm 18. Still considered puppy love right. Oh well..puppy love can still last.. right. Coz now he's my hubby & father to my children. ;o)
I don't mind my students having bf/gf as long as they take care of themselves. I know what they're going thru. I went thru da same phase before. Just remember to think before u do anything stupid. Tuhan bagi akal so use it la. But i'm around to guide or advice not to judge.

Happy New Year!::
Wow.. it's 2007 already. My... time really flies. Ok let me see.. these are my new yr resolution work wise.
improve my attendance (dont want to get D again) do my marking promptly (so that i wont be backdated my my bks wont pile up) maintain a clean table (a colleague doesnt like sitting near me coz of my mess) complete my netball coaching course (i want my NCAP cert) improve my coaching (make up for last yr) teach more creatively (to make ML more interesting coz students tend to drag ML) use more IT in teaching (to inspire students and embrace IT..be updated) do my lesson plan regularly (make up of being bad last yr) apply for the adv dip courses (to chase my dream to go to U.. so constantly updating) be more healthy (thinking of going to the sch gym)
I guess those are my new yr resolution for this yr. I try my best. Cant wait to get back to work.
